I was born in Camden and was raised in Louisiana where I graduated from West Monroe High School. My Bachelor’s of Education Degree was earned at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. I am half way through a Master’s of Education degree with plans to complete it in the near future.
I have 15 years of experience being a classroom teacher in addition to two years of being a Health Educator with the Arkansas Department of Education. This is my second year as a third grade teacher at Ivory.
I am married to Mark Shatley, a retired fire fighter. We were childhood sweethearts and were married on the 30th anniversary of the day we met. We have been married for two years. Together we have four children. Anna 19, Ryan 16, Rachel 13, and Jack 9. We have a black lab whose name is Maggy, a Yorkie whose name is Misty, a Guinea Pig whose name is Qubert and three hermit crabs.
