CGI (Cognative Guided Instruction) math lesson/strategies
I began teaching 2nd grade at Ivory Primary in August of 2015. I am still with the school district. I teach all 2nd grade subjects including math, reading/social studies, language arts, writing, word study, and science.
I began substitute teaching for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools in Wuertzburg, Germany in January of 2005. I left Germany the winter of 2006. At that time, I went back to college to study for my degree in education. I graduted in December of 2011 and began working as a teacher for the Fort Smith Public Schools in Fort Smith Arkansas. In 2014, I worked as a 5-6th grade reading teacher for Junction City Schools in Junction City, AR.
I am single and live with my middle daughter, Wendy and her three sons Anthony, Ashton and Angelo. I also have a Piekenise named Chrissy who thinks she is one of the kids. We live in El Dorado, AR where the children attend school. I am the oldest of 17 children and I have over 100 nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. I have 4 other children who live in Northwest Arkansas and North East Oklahoma along with 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
