Dear Ivory Intermediate Families:

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is an honor to return to Ivory Intermediate as your principal. Having previously served our school as a teacher and Dean of Students, I am grateful for the opportunity to once again serve the students, families, and staff of Ivory.

Our theme this year is:

At Ivory, we believe every student has the ability to learn, lead, and make a positive difference. Our staff is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where students are challenged academically, encouraged to grow, and supported as they develop greater confidence and independence.

Families are an important part of that success. We look forward to partnering with you, keeping you informed, and working together to help your child reach the next level.

  • July 22 at 5:00 PM | Class lists will be posted on July 22 at 5:00 PM on the front doors and shared through ParentSquare.
  • July 23 | 5:30-7:00 PM: Open House (Come & Go)
  • July 29 | First day of school!

New & Returning Student Registration
Registration for new and returning Camden Fairview students is open now. Families should complete online registration as soon as possible and upload all required documents to help ensure schedules are finalized before the first day of school.

  • Start Time: 7:55 AM
  • Dismissal Time: 3:20 PM

🚗 Arrival & Dismissal
  • Drop-Off Begins: 7:30 AM
  • Car Riders: Use entrance nearest CFMS and drive to back of school – remain in vehicle
  • Tip: Be on time! Instructional time is critical - every day counts!

🍽️ Meals
  • Breakfast Served: 7:30-8:00 AM
  • Lunch Times: Fourth Grade Lunch 11:00-11:30. Fifth Grade Lunch 11:45-12:15
  • All students eat free this year!

👕 Dress Code Highlights
  • Closed-toe shoes required.
  • Shorts, skirts, leggings, and dresses must be appropriate for school.

  • Bring backpack and clear water bottle daily. 
  • Label jackets and lunchboxes
  • Check backpacks/folders daily
  • Medications must be brought by a parent to the nurse

Attendance & Transportation 101:

🕗 Attendance Matters!
At Ivory Intermediate, we believe that #AttendanceMatters! Every day in school is a chance to learn, grow, and build a strong academic foundation. Starting in kindergarten, good attendance is linked to higher achievement and future success.
  • 🪪 Be ready to show photo ID when checking out students or entering the building.
  • 🚫 No parking in the front bus lane. Please use a front parking lot when walking your child inside.
  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Students will only be released to adults listed in their PowerSchool registration.

Car-Rider Dismissal @ 3:20 PM
  • Use the Dooley Womack Dr. entrance closest to CFMS. Students will be dropped off and picked up from the covered walkway at the rear of the school.
  • During afternoon dismissal, form a double line then merge at the sign.
  • Have your car tag number visible at pickup. No tag? You’ll be asked to pull over and show ID.
  • Returning families: continue using last year’s tag. New students will receive a tag.

🚌 Bus Dismissal @ 3:25 PM
  • Help us keep bus routines consistent — daily changes disrupt the process.

To request a transportation change:
  • 📩 Send a written note in your child’s folder, or
  • 📧 Email Ms. Alana Davis at adavis@cfcards.net, cc your child’s teacher. Include: Student name, teacher, and destination address
  • 🚫 No changes accepted after 2:00 PM
