As we enter the month of November, I am filled with gratitude for our amazing Ivory Intermediate family. This season reminds us to pause and give thanks, and I want to take a moment to express how thankful I am for our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and hardworking students, Each of you plays an important role in making our school such a special place where learning, laughter, and kindness shine each day. Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to helping every child grow and succeed. Wishing you all a wonderful month filled with gratitude and joy!

I hope that everyone enjoyed the Scholastic Book Fair! It was a big success. I am especially grateful to our parent/family volunteers: Robin Thrower, Samantha White, Maranda Magby, Manpreet Kang, Dawn Field, Alyssa Nutt, and Tatiana Davis!

Thank you to all who made purchases. With the money raised through purchases and donations, new books and materials will be purchased for our library!

We have so much to be thankful for at Ivory Intermediate! In honor of Thanksgiving, we would like to invite all Ivory Intermediate families to join us for lunch on Friday, November 21. * Please make sure you bring your drivers license or other state-issued ID card to assist us in checking in all visitors.

Please return the form in your child's Thursday folder to let us know if you're attending and planning to eat lunch from the cafeteria. This allows our wonderful cafeteria crew time to plan for extra meals. The cost for visitor lunch is $4.85 per adult.

The district-provided mesh backpacks are being delivered to Camden Fairview High School and Camden Fairview Middle School. These backpacks will be distributed to students on Monday, November 10.

The updated Grades 6–12 Backpack Policy will go into effect on Tuesday, November 11. Beginning on Tuesday, all CFHS and CFMS students will be required to carry clear or mesh backpacks.

Morning arrival procedures, including bag checks and use of metal detectors, will continue to be followed consistently at both schools.

Clear Bag Policy. Camden Fairview School District has implemented a Clear Bag Policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into stadiums, gymnasiums and other athletic fields.* Prohibited items include but are not limited to purses larger than a 4.5” x 6.5” clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, grocery bags, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags, and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size. Student Conduct. K-5 grade students must be supervised by an adult at all CFSD athletic events. All students, home and visiting, are expected to be on their best behavior while attending any school event. Students will be removed from events if they are involved in any fights, act disrespectfully toward administrators or other school personnel, or if any prohibited items are found on them or in their vehicle. All students must be picked up within 20 minutes of the end of any event
