2024-2025 Ivory Intermediate Car Line Information

• Our first bell rings at 7:55. Classroom instruction begins at 8AM and ends at 3:25PM. At Ivory Intermediate, we believe that #AttendanceMatters and that absences are lost opportunities to learn in the classroom! Some absences are unavoidable, but it’s important that students are at school from bell-to-bell as often as possible. By #ShowingUpTogether, we can improve student learning outcomes and increase the likelihood that students will achieve academically and graduate high school and college. 

• Car-riders must use the entrance from Dooley Womack Dr. closest to CFMS. Students will be dropped off and picked up from the covered walkway at the rear of the school.

• Please form a double-line of cars during afternoon pickup, then merge at the “Merge Here” sign.

• All car riders will be expected to follow our car tag number system and have the tag/number visible in your car when picking up your child. Vehicles without a number will be asked to pull out of line and show identification before signing out a student. 

• To help the car-rider line move safely and efficiently, please have students enter and exit vehicles only from the passenger side.

• During morning drop-off, it’s also helpful for students to be ready to exit the car (free of technology, seatbelt off, wearing their backpack, etc.) before the car reaches the covered walkway area.
