CFHS Earns Best Start-Up School Garden Award
#CardinalPride - CFHS has received the Best Start-Up School Garden Award in the Arkansas Grown School Garden of the Year Contest! This program is sponsored by the Farm Credit Associations of Arkansas and promotes the importance of involving young people in the process of fresh food production and cultivation.

This award is a result of the planning and work CFHS agri teacher Ms. Christy Reynolds and FACS teacher Mrs. Amanda James are doing together. Last spring, Ms. Reynolds received the Farm to School Institute Grant, which allowed Mrs. James and Ms. Reynolds to attend the Farm to School Institute at the Winthrop Rockefeller Center in Morrilton.

Ms. Reynolds said, "We are excited to receive this award! Mrs. James and I are still in the beginning process of getting grant funds to build raised garden beds to grow and harvest vegetables. Our students will learn how to grow the crops and learn about the nutritional value of their crops. They will also be able to compare store-bought veggies with freshly harvested. FACS students will learn ways to cook the harvest as well. We also want to do taste-testing for not only students in our classes but for others as well. The whole project will encompass agri, FACS, and Ms. Eckert's classroom."

Soaring to Success: Cardinal Alumni Spotlight
#CardinalsSoar - We are excited to introduce "Soaring to Success: Cardinal Alumni Spotlight", which features CFHS graduates achieving great things in college, vocational school, and the workforce!

Grayson Burton (CFHS 2024) recently competed in the National Employment Skills contest, where she represented Camden Fairview FFA and Arkansas FFA after placing first at the State Contest in April. Grayson earned a silver ranking among 43 contestants. Congratulations, Grayson!

In this Leadership Development Event (LDE), students use many leadership skills, such as active listening, problem–solving, and decision–making, and improve their written and oral communication skills. This event also helps students search for jobs, internships, and part-time and full-time employment in any career field.

Important reminders for all CFSD events
All students are expected to be on their best behavior and follow all school policies, including the dress code, while attending school events. Students will be banned from after school activities if they are involved in any fights, disrespectful towards administration or any school personnel, or if any prohibited items are found on them or in their vehicles during an event.

6-12 grade students will have 20 minutes after school activities end to leave campus. Students should notify parents ahead of time to let them know what time the activity will end. Announcements are made prior to the activity ending to remind students to contact parents.

We appreciate your support and look forward to cheering on all Cardinal student-athletes together!

attendance matters
Attendance Matters! Let's Show Up Together This School Year.
At Camden Fairview, we believe that #AttendanceMatters and that absences are lost opportunities to learn in the classroom. Let's start the year off right - at school every day possible! Some absences are unavoidable, but it’s important that students are at school from bell-to-bell as often as possible.

Beginning in kindergarten, regular attendance is often an indicator of higher academic performance. Students who are at #SchoolEveryDay also do better academically in middle school and are more likely to graduate high school.
